Can boarders bring their own trainers to Monarch Stables to work with their horses?

Yes, you may bring your own trainer or you can retain our onsite trainer.

Is there a resident trainer who offers training and lessons on site?

Yes, Barn Manager Lara Graff has over 18 years of training experience. Learn more about her training practice here.

Are haul-ins welcome for facility use?

Yes, trails, jump arenas and indoor arenas may be used, based on availability. Please inquire about scheduling and pricing.

Do you offer trail rides/pony rides?

No pony rides or trail rides are offered.

Do you rent horses?

No, all horses on premises are privately owned.

Are lessons required for boarding?

No, neither training nor lessons are required, however onsite lessons/trainer are available and outside trainers are welcome.

Are there charges for extras like blankets, fly masks, etc.?

We include these amenities and are happy to apply blankets, fly gear, etc. as needed.

Do you rent any of your riding arenas?

No, but we allow haul-ins for a fee, as schedules permit.

What do you require upon move-in?

We require a meeting with the boarder, copies of current core vaccine record and Coggins, payment for monthly board, and a completed signed boarding contract.

Do you offer overnight stalls?

No. Boarding is offered only on a monthly basis.

Do you hold for vet and farrier appointments?

Holding for appointments is available at an additional charge.

Can I provide my choice of grain?

Yes. We permit clients to provide their own grain and/or hay, but there is no discount to the full board cost.

What is your deworming protocol?

We highly recommend an annual fecal test by your veterinarians. Boarders are responsible for yearly deworming schedules for their horses. We administer medications at no extra cost.
